Event Overview:

The New York Futsal World Cup League is gearing up to launch, bringing together 10 national teams for a thrilling futsal tournament. This league will feature nine weeks of regular season matches, followed by an intense playoff series, including the semifinals and final, all showcasing top-level futsal competition.

Game Schedule:

Game Day: Weekly matches on Saturdays

Regular Season Duration: 9 weeks of action-packed games leading up to the playoffs

Christmas Break: No games will be held during the holiday period, ensuring players and fans can enjoy a festive break.

Playoffs:

Semifinals and Final: The top 4 teams from the regular season will advance to the playoffs, competing for the championship title.

Each match will consist of two 20-minute halves with a 5-minute halftime. The clock will pause during the last two minutes of each game based on the referee’s discretion, particularly for close and competitive moments. For the semifinals and final, all official futsal rules will be applied, including stoppage whenever the ball is out of play.

Teams and Format:

National Teams: Representing a diverse array of countries, 10 teams will compete in a round-robin format, with the highest-ranking teams advancing to the playoffs.

Playoff Structure: Top teams advance to the semifinals, with winners moving on to the grand final.

Location:

The tournament will take place at our indoor futsal facility, with limited seating available. We recommend purchasing tickets in advance to secure your spot.

Rules & Regulations:

• Match Duration: Two 20-minute halves with a 5-minute halftime.

• Time Stoppage: For regular season games, the clock will stop at the referee's discretion in the last two minutes. In semifinals and finals, the clock will pause each time the ball goes out of play, aligning with full futsal rules.

• Ball Sizes and Age Groups: Official futsal ball sizes will be used, accommodating a variety of age groups from 6 to 19 years.
